A group of 22, 1st year Agriculture students from Craibstone, Aberdeen were conducting a study tour round Perthshire, Angus and Fife earlier this month and they stopped off at Easter Rhynd for an afternoon. The weather wasn't up to much so they had a quick look at a field of Nikita Oilseed Rape and a field of Viscount Wheat before heading inside to get a run down of what happens at Hay Farms from Finlay. That was followed by a farm tour giving a chance to look at the machinery we have, along with a couple of beers and a chat about Agriculture in general. All of us at Hay Farms wish them the best of luck with their ongoing studies.
